E-Veggies (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the fresh produce and grocery ordering platform. We are committed to transparency, data minimization, and safeguarding your personal privacy. We collect only the information necessary to fulfill fresh grocery orders to your address.

2. Information We Collect

• Account & Profile: Full name, verified mobile phone number, email address, and optional customer profile photo.
• Delivery Destination: Street address, landmark, PIN code, district, and state to verify serviceability and dispatch local deliveries.
• Order History: Historical purchases, quantities, purchase-time prices, and order statuses.

3. Customer Profile Photos & Automatic Compression

Customer profile photos are optional. When uploaded, images are automatically compressed and resized on the client-side to square WebP format (~512×512 pixels) before transmission, stripping unnecessary EXIF metadata. Compressed photos are stored in our secure, private Supabase Storage bucket with strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Only your authenticated account may modify or delete your photo.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to:

• Verify local delivery area serviceability.
• Process, prepare, and deliver fresh produce orders.
• Provide real-time order status notifications.
• Maintain customer support and resolve order inquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Requests

Customer purchase records are retained to maintain order accuracy and fulfillment accountability. Customers have the legal right to request complete account and data deletion at any time by contacting our privacy desk at support@e-veggies.com.
